Moriarty in the pink
Colm Moriarty was in the pink after his first professional win - but now it's his manager's turn.
Horizon Sports' boss Conor Ridge will have to die his hair pink as part of a long-standing bet with the Glasson Golf Hotel Pro.
The Athlone ace, 27, chiselled out a level par 72 to win in the Wensum Valley International Open on the EuroPro Tour by two shots.
After banking €15,000, Moriarty grinned: "I had a deal with Conor going back four years that he had to die his hair when I won my first event.
"I'm going to make him die it pink - that should bring out his feminine side."
The Glasson Golf Hotel pro was five shots clear with a round to play at the Norwich venue but had to sweat for his first win as England's Neil Walker birdied four of the last five holes.
He added: "Hopefully it's the first of many wins and it will lead to bigger and better things.
"I have worked hard over the winter and had confidence going out, but I couldn't have done it without the help of all my sponsors.
"Glasson, Irish Life, Hyundai, TaylorMade-adidas and the Team Ireland Golf Trust have all been amazing to me."
