Murphy keeps his promise

Liverpool fan Gary Murphy became a Red Devil after losing a bet with his former caddie.

The Kilkenny man failed in a 2007 weight-loss challenge with bagman Gerry Byrne, who is a big Manchester United fan.

Byrne bet Murphy that he would weigh less than his boss before last year's Open at Carnoustie.

Judging by this picture of Murphy (above), there is no doubt who was the winner.
