Darren Clarke has decided to mix and match his caddies this season in an effort to stay fresh.

The Ulsterman sacked bagman Phil "Wobbly" Morbey after they had a blazing row midway through the Honda Classic two weeks ago.

Englishman Mick Doran, who has caddied for Justin Rose, took over for the rest of that week and continued on Clarke's bag in the CA Championship at Doral.

But Doran is returning to his regular employer, Sweden's S Richard S Johnson, next week and will only caddie for Clarke in this season's Majors.

Clarke is on the lookout for a new man for next week's Bay Hill Invitational, where he must contend for victory to make the world's top 50 and qualify for the Masters.

The Dungannon native is currently ranked 77th in the world and if he fails to make the move at Bay Hill he can still qualify for the Masters as a tournament winner by claiming the following week's Shell Houston Open.
