Going the extra mile

Padraig Harrington hasn't won three majors without putting in some effort. So it was no surprise that around 1,100 people turned up to hear him give the opening address to the National Coaching Conference at City West Exhibition Centre in Dublin on Saturday, organised by Setanta College and Sporttracker.

Listening to them was fascinating, especially their advice to parents with youngsters interested in taking up the game. The bottom line is - the younger you start, the further you will be able to hit the ball.
