Galgorm CastleDerry’s Michael McGeady and Limerick’s Tim Rice are six shots off the pace entering the final round of the Europro Tour’s Ulster Bank Open at Galgorm Castle near Ballymena.

England’s Scott Fallon fired a 67 to top the leaderboard by a stroke on 11 under with McGeady (67) and Rice (70) tied for 11th on five under. Leaderboard

Royal Dublin’s Neil O Briain  is a shot further back after a 69 as the cut fell at level par 144.

Paul O’Hanlon (68) and Asian Tour regular Niall Turner (68) made it easily on three under with Gareth Shaw (71) on two under, Damian Mooney (70) one under, and Mark Staunton (72), Ruaidhri McGee (69), Steven Hackett (72) and Cian Curley (67) on level par.

Walker Cup star Paul Cutler missed the cut by three shots after rounds of 72 and 75.
