Carter top of the class in Cork

The Stackstown player finished one ahead of his college-mate Declan Loftus with reigning Intervarsity champion Ryan Gribben (Ulster), Alan Lowry (NUI Maynooth) and Enda Gradock (NUI Galway) all a shot further back.

Ulster’s Roisin Brady captured the Ladies category with a level-par 74, enough to win on the countback from DCU’s Amy Farrell.

NUI Maynooth’s Sinead Sexton was a shot further back in third.
