Ward wins Headfort Scratch Cup

L-R: Soo Hee Ding (sponsor The Old Bridge Inn Navan), Simon Ward (winner) and Headfort Golf Club Captain John GriffinBaltray’s Simon Ward added another piece of silverware to his collection when he captured the inaugural Headfort Senior Scratch Cup on Sunday.

The 2006 South of Ireland champion shot rounds of 71 and 69 over the Old and New Courses at the 36-hole Co Meath venue to win by a stroke from Lisburn’s Ryan Symington.
