Sheen McElroy and Pat Doran cruised to a 6 and 4 foursomes win before singles wins by Carol Wickham, Gertie McMullen and Laura Webb and a half from Suzanne Corcoran completed a convincing victory at Golf & Country Club Bled.

Italy beat England 3.5-1.5 in the other semi-final. Scores
