Slieve Russell's Leona Maguire finished runner up in the Annika Intercollegiate in Orlando as Duke University came home fifth behind South Carolina on the Watson Course at Reunion Golf Club.
The Cavan star, who was two shots off the pace with a round to go, closed with a two under 70 to finish one behind overnight leader Justine Dreher from South Carolina on eight under par.
Maguire, who was fifth on her debut for Duke in the Cougar Classic two weeks ago, was one over after nine holes but stormed him in three under 33 to claim her best finish in collegiate golf so far.
Her twin sister Lisa was was 55th following a disappointing 82 on her final round.
