Hume takes route 66 — fifth in Miami
Naas' Jack Hume closed with a brilliant 66 to share fifth spot in the South Beach International Amateur Open at Miami Beach Golf Club in Florida.
The reigning West of Ireland champion birdied four of his last five holes for a closing six under par effort and ended the week five shots behind winner Gabriel Lench of the United States on six under par. Scores
Lench shot a 67 to win by one stroke on 11 under par from Canada'as Adam Svensson with American Ben Griffin third on nine under.
