Castle's Peter McKeever shot a two under par 70 to lead after the opening round of the Munster Youths at Dungarvan.
The Dubliner is a shot clear of Mallow's James Sugrue and Cahir Park's Dylan Burke with Galway's Ronan Mullarney and Balbriggan's Tommy Doran two off the pace at level par 72s.
