Power six behind in Raleigh

West Waterford's Seamus Power got to within three shots of the lead but ended up six behind after carding a level par 71 in the third round of the $625,000 Rex Hospital Open on the Web.com Tour.

Birdies at the first and fourth put him in the top-10 but while he bogeyed the 14th and double bogeyed the 15th, a birdie at the 16th left him tied for 16th entering the final round at TPC Wakefield Plantation

Byron Smith, Hunter Haas and Harold Varner III lead on 11 under par by a stroke from Roberto Diaz and Scott Gardiner in the race for the $112,500 top prize.
