Jessica Ross leads Irish Women's Close qualifiers

Donaghadee's Jessica Ross added a 75 to her opening 72 to win the Leitrim Cup as the leading qualifier for the Irish Women's Amateur Close Championship at Enniscrone.

She finished two shots ahead of defending champion Paula Grant of Lisburn on one-over par with Holywood's Jessica Carty in third on four over.

Ross will play County Louth's Roisin Brady in the first round of the Championship with Grant taking on Lahinch's Sinead Sexton.
