Kearney clinches Asian Tour card

Slowly but surely things are falling into place for 2009 Walker Cup star Niall Kearney. With his injury problems resolved and his victories in the Irish PGA and the Titleist PGA Play-offs last year underlining his maturity as a professional, he took another step forward in his career on Saturday when he clinched his Asian Tour card for 2015.

— Niall Kearney (@n_kgolf) January 24, 2015A two over 73 wasn't quite the final round Kearney had in mind but he at least finished inside the crucial Top 40 and ties, sharing 27th place on two under par at Springfield Royal Country Club in Hua Hin.
Sweden's Daniel Chopra shot a final round 68 to top the qualifiers by four strokes on 15 under par from Finland's Kalle Samooja.
