Andrés Torrubia presents Maurice Kelly with the Spanish Senior Amateur Open

Naas ace Maurice Kelly cruised to an impressive wire-to-wire win in the Spanish Senior Amateur Open at Oliva Nova in Valencia.

Six clear overnight, the reigning Irish Senior Close champion had enough with a closing 76 to win by five strokes from England's Philip Bramall (73) on two over 218.

Winner of this title in 2008,  Kelly was runner up in 2007 and 2012. He also won the team title with Hugh Smyth in 2009 and was second in 2007 and 2008.

Sweden's Claes Kinell (74) was third on 227 with Adrian Morrow (79) tied 16th on 233, Hugh Smyth (84) tied 19th, Richard Brooker (83) 25th on 240 and Kenny Stevenson (84) tied 30th on 242
