Higgins duo dominates PGB Winter Series at Waterville

David Higgins shared top spot amongst the professionals and helped his nephew Liam win the Pro-Am in the Premium Golf Brands Munster PGA Winter Series outing at Waterville.
The former tour player posted a 73 to share first place with David Whyte and Danny Sugrue in tne William Rushby sponsored outing at the classic Co Kerry links, where a team score of 63 with his 13 handicap nephew Liam was enough to win the Pro-Am by one.
The final event in the Premium Golf Brands Winter Series is the rescheduled Morgan O’Donovan Perpetual Trophy, which will be held at Monkstown GC next month.
