Englishman Mark Stones made seven birdies in 70 to take a two-shot lead after an opening round of the Irish Seniors Amateur Open Championship at Roscommon.
He leads on two under par from Cork's Tom Cleary and three-time Irish Seniors Close champion Garth McGimpsey while defending champion Adrian Morrow from Portmarnock is four behind after a 74.
