France dominate European Young Masters

Ireland ended the opening day tied for 13th place at the European Young Masters in Switzerland.

France has a massive, 15-stroke lead on 13 under par from England and Belgium with Ireland 24 shots behind on 11 over at Golf Club Domaine Impérial.

Thomas Mulligan and Mark Power shot five over 77s to share 34th amongst the boys as Antoine Auboin of France shot an incredible, eight under par 64 to lead by four strokes from Belgium's Lucas Becht. Scores

In the girls' event,  Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of France shot a three under 69 to lead by a shot from compatriot Charlotte Lafourcade with Mairead Martin and Annabel Wilson tied 10th on three over after 75s. Scores
