Carey hits routes 66 on Alps Tour

Alps Tour — Dubliner David Carey fired a seven birdies in a five under 66 to make the cut in the Abruzzo Open at Miglianico Golf and Country Club on Italy's Adriatic coast.
The 20-year old ended the day tied for 21st on three under par, eight strokes behind Federico Maccario of Italy whose 63 gave him a two shot lead over France's Raphael Marguery on 11 under par.
The cut fell at one under par with Thomas O'Driscoll two shots outside the mark on one over after rounds of 73 and 70.
