Maria Dunne into last 16 at Indian Amateur Championship

Skerries’ Curtis Cup star Maria Dunne beat Thailand’s Siripatsorn Patchana 2 and 1 in the first round of the USHA All India Ladies Amateur Golf Championship at Delhi Golf Club.

She will now face Malaysia’s Geraldine Wong in the last 16 on Friday but there was no luck for England’s Gemma Clews, who lost her match against Indian golfer Seher Atwal.
