Quirke claims Leinster Seniors by three

Doneraile's Michael Quirke claimed the Leinster Seniors Amateur Open by three strokes at Glasson.
The former Irish Seniors champion added a one under 72 to his opening 73 to finish on 145 with Greystones' Barry O'Leary second on 148.
Quirke shared the overnight lead with Garth McGimpsey and Val Smyth after an opening 73. But McGimpsey shot a 78 to finish fifth on 151 while Smyth crashed to an 86 to finish on 159.
