Winning European Ryder Cup team captain and Irish Olympic Team Leader Paul McGinley is once again inviting ambitious young golfers under the age of 16 years to enter the Grange Dublin Boys’ Golf Championship, in association with his sponsors Allianz.

Now in its 23rd year, the popular 36 holes annual event takes place at McGinley's home club Grange on Monday, July 18 for 69 players of 16 handicap and under.

McGinley, who has proudly maintained his strong ties with Grange, said: “I am delighted to be associated with this event for ambitious young boy golfers.

"Ireland continues to punch above its weight on the global stage and I believe it is crucial for the future of Irish golf that the game is supported at underage level.

"I commend my long standing sponsors Allianz and my club Grange for their on-going commitment to this championship and the future of golf in Ireland.”

The closing date for entries is Friday, July 8th.
