Web.com Tour — West Waterford's Seamus Power fired six birdies in 12 holes before play was suspended due to darkness in the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic.
The Irish star, a winner already this year and ranked ninth in the race for 15 cards from the money list. is tied for 12th on five under par at Corales Golf Club in Punta Cana.

Carey six back in Guadeloupe
Alps Tour — Dubliner David Carey is six shots off the lead after the opening round of the Open de St Francois Guadeloupe.
He shot a four over par 76 at Golf International de Saint-Francois to share 57th spot as Juliet Foret, Erwan Vieilledent and amateur Julien de Poyen of France, England's James Sharp and Italy's Federico Maccario shot two under 69s to lead by one.
