Galway finish runners up in European Men's Club Trophy
Irish champions Galway Golf Club finished second to French counterparts La Boulie in the 2017 European Men's Club Trophy at Golf du Médoc Resort in France.
The trio of Ronan Mullarney (T6 individually), Luke O'Neill (T18) and Joe Lyons (23rd) finished ten strokes behind the French club on two-under par.
O'Neill had one of the scores of the day, a two-under-par 69, to ensure that Galway edged out City of Newcastle for second place by a stroke on two-under as Mullarney shot 71 and Lyons' 74 was discarded.
La Boulie completed a wire-to-wire win, matching Ireland's 140 on the final day to finish on 12-under-par 414.
