Galway ten adrift in European Men's Club Trophy

Galway Golf Club is ten strokes adrift of RCF La Boulie heading into the third and final round of the European Men's Club Trophy in France.
Ronan Mullarney, Joe Lyons and Luke O'Neill are representing the AIG Irish Senior Cup holders at Golf du Médoc Resort but with only the best two scores to count they slipped from second to third on day two.
A second-round tally of two-over 144 leaves the Connacht men on level par 284 with La Boulie leading by eight strokes on 10-under par 274 from the City of Newcastle Golf Club after shooting seven-under par on day two.
Mullarney followed his first round 68 with a 73 to lie tied fifth in the individual standings on one-under-par, two strokes behind La Boulie's Frederic Lacroix (67-72)
Lyons is tied 16th on three-over after a 71 on Friday with young gun Luke O'Neill tie 27th on seven-over after rounds of 72 and 77.
