O'Donovan and McClean make Sunshine Tour Q-School

Sunshine Tour — Richard O'Donovan and John McClean qualified for next week's final stage of the Sunshine Tour Qualifying School in Johannesburg.
Lucan's O'Donovan closed with a five over 75 to share 13th on nine-over-par in his first stage qualifier at Killarney Country Club where Martin Rohwer won by two strokes from amateur Brandon Cloete on 10-under par.
Northern Ireland's McClean finished tied for 20th on 12-over after a 76.
Both men will join Royal Dublin's Jeff Hopkins and Old Conna's Neil O'Briain in the final stage at Randpark Golf Club from March 13-17 where the top 30 and ties after 90 holes will be eligible for Category 9 membership on the Sunshine Tour for the 2017/18 season.
