O'Donovan edges closer to Sunshine Tour card

Lucan's Richard O'Donovan is just five shots off the lead and on course to win his card heading into the final round of the Sunshine Tour Qualifying School in South Africa.
The Dubliner, who won the East of Ireland Championship nearly nine years ago, made seven birdies in a five-under 67 at Houghton Golf Club to move up to joint eighth in the race to finish among the top 25 and ties who will be eligible for membership in Category 9 on the Sunshine Tour for the 2020/2021 season
He's just five shots behind leaders PH McIntyre and Rupert Kaminski on 10-under par in Johannesburg, three shots inside the top 25 and ties.
McIntyre also shot 67 to lead on 15-under-par alongside Kaminski, who shot 69, two strokes clear of Tristen Strydom, who blasted a 10-under-par 62 to get to 13-under.
