Power up to 140th in FedEx Cup
Seamus Power moved up just three places to 140th in the FedEx Cup standings after he finished tied 18th in the Barbasol Championship in Alabama.
The West Waterford golfer, 30, closed with a two-under par 69 to finish on 13-under par at RTJ Trail's Grand National Course, eight shots behind winner Grayson Murray.
He earned $42,778 for his finish and has now made $465,746 this year having made 16 cuts from 22 starts.
But he must be inside the top 125 in the FedEx Cup standings to keep his card and is still short of his goal with just three regular season events remaining, starting with this week's RBC Canadian Open where he joins Graeme McDowell and Shane Lowry.
Murray shot a three-under par 68 to win by a shot from Chad Collins on 21-under par.
