Curley playing catch up in Colombia
Newlands' Cian Curley shot a second successive 74 to lie just two shots outside the conditional qualifying places in the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Qualifying Tournament in Colombia.
The Dubliner dropped three shots coming home at Club Los Lagartos in Bogotá - one of four qualifying tournaments for the 2018 season — and shares 43rd on six-over-par in an event where the winner will be exempt for the entire 2018 season and not subject to the reshuffle.
The next 10 finishers — currently on level par or better — will receive exempt status for the first half of the 2018 season and will be subject to the reshuffle for the second half of the season.
The remaining 24 players and anyone tied for the last qualifying position (four-over), will receive conditional status and will be eligible for the reshuffle.
Curley is just two shots outside that mark but with two rounds to go, there is still time to make a move up the leaderboard and challenge for exempt status.
England's Charlie Bull leads by three shots on seven-under-par from Canada's Russell Budd
