Coyne and Dooley win Munster PGA Fourball at Ceann Sibéal
Drive Golf Performance duo Conor Coyne and Padraig Dooley racked up 42 “pointí” to win the final outing of the 2019 Winter Series for Munster PGA Professionals at links gem Ceann Sibéal.
The combined to card five birdies and an eagle in their first 13 holes of fourball action at the stunning Dingle peninsula club, dropping their only shot at the 15th.
After making birdies at the second, fifth, sixth, ninth and 11th, the highlight of their day came at the 13th, where Dooley rifled a three-iron to 12 inches to set up their eagle.
They won by three points from Monkstown’s Cian McNamara and Castletroy’s Gary Howie, who finished strongly for their 39-point tally.
The eventual runners-up started with nine straight pars before following a bogey at the 10th with birdies at the 11th, 13th, 14th and 18th.
