Ireland lead qualifiers in European Men's Team Championship

Ireland will face World Amateur Team champions Denmark in the quarter-finals of the European Amateur Team Championship in Sweden after topping the qualifiers at Ljunghusen by three strokes from England on 19-under par.

The Boys team also made the quarter-finals at Golf de Chantilly, qualifying in sixth place to set up a quarter-final clash with England while the women's team take on leading qualifiers Italy after finishing eighth in qualifying at Is Molas in Sardinia.
But there was no luck for the Girls' team at El Saler where they finished 11th and now face Norway in the battle for ninth in Flight B.
