Woodbrook’s Tom Dowdall added a magnificent, six-under 67 to his opening 76 to lead the Irish Student Championship by two strokes with one round to play at Murvagh.
He made eight birdies in his second round to lead on three-under 143 from Carton House’s Darragh Flynn while Mullingar’s Adam Smith, Laytown & Bettystown’s Eoghan Collins and Dun Laoghaire’s Robert Abernethy are lurking on level par
The cut for the top 42 and ties fell at 168.
