Boucher claims top prize in Flogas Irish Scratch Series at The K Club
Carton House’s Marc Boucher card a five-under-par 67 to win the first gross in the Flogas Irish Scratch Series outing on the Palmer South Course at The K Club.
The former UNC Charlotte 49er took the top prize by a stroke from Alps Tour professional Jonathan Yates and Irish international Peter O’Keeffe
Brendan McDonnell won the nett with a 70 off six, edging out three-handicapper Conor O’Hehir after a countback.
Amateurs Gerard Dunne, Sam Murphy and Jake Whelan posted two-under 70’s to match professionals Paul McBride, Dermot McElroy and Gary Hurley.
Lahinch’s Aine Donegan was also among the leading scores of the day, carding a one-under 71 to finish alongside professionals John Ross Galbraith, Brian McCormack and Ronan Mullarney and amateur Kyle Patton
