Roganstown 10 back after opening round in European Men's Club Trophy
AIG Senior Cup winners Roganstown are 10th on eight-over par after the opening round of the European Men's Club Trophy at Troia Golf in Portugal.
The All Ireland champions are ten strokes behind Denmark's Smørum Golfklub.
Patrick Keeling shot a three-over 75 and his younger brother Sean a 77 with Charlie Kelly's 79 discarded.
Smørum lead the team standings by two strokes from the Netherlands’ Rosendaelsche Golfclub on two-under-par with England’s Spalding Golf Club third on one-under.
Smørum’s Jens Kristian Thystead shot a three-under 69 to top the individual standings alongside Antoine Auboin from Biarritz, who are fourth in the team standings.
