David Puig, Jeunghun Wang and Denwit Boriboonsub qualify for The Open
David Puig, Jeunghun Wang and Denwit Boriboonsub have qualified for The 152nd Open at Royal Troon through the IRS Prima Malaysian Open.
The IRS Prima Malaysian Open was the third event in the Open Qualifying Series and was played The Mines Resort & Golf Club.
Puig won the Asian Tour event on a 23-under-par total of 261 after two back-to-back 62s in the third and final round.
Wang shot a final round 61 to claim the second qualifying place on 21-under-par, while Boriboonsub took the final qualifying place courtesy of his higher position in the Official World Golf Ranking after finishing in a tie for third place with John Catlin on 20-under-par.
The next event in the Open Qualifying Series is the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, taking place at Bay Hill from 7-10 March.
