Royal Liverpool confirmed for The Open in 2023; Royal Troon to host in 2024
The R&A today confirmed that The 151st Open will be played at Royal Liverpool from 16-23 July 2023 and The 152nd Open will be played at Royal Troon from 14-21 July 2024.
Stephanie Meadow slipped back to 48th on nine-over after a 72 as Germany’s Sophia Popov carded a four-under 67 to take a three-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round of the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Troon.
Olympics date squeeze forces 2016 Irish Open out of Open Qualifying Series
It will be back in the fold in 2017 but because of pressure on dates caused by golf's return to the Olympic Games, next year's Dubai Duty Free Irish Open will not be part of the The Open Qualifying Series.
