Challenge Tour — England's Daniel Gaunt shot an eight under 64 to lead the D + D Real Czech Challenge by four shots with Royal Dublin's Niall Kearney tied for 23rd after a one under 71.

Gareth Shaw is 82nd on two over after a 74.

Europro Tour — Limerick's Tim Rice fired a five birdies in an immaculate 67 to grab a share of the lead after the first round of the The Kerry London Championship on the New Course at Burhill.

The former international shares top spot with Stowmarket's Sam Forgan with Stephen Grant of the Heritage just a shot adrift in a five-way share of third after a 68 featuring just one bogey. Scores
