Dawson favourite for Lee Valley Scratch Cup

International Robin Dawson is the bookies' favourite for the 54-hole Lee Valley Senior Scratch Cup this weekend.
The Faithlegg player is 4-1 with Paddy Power ahead of the in-form Waterford man Eanna Griffin (6/1) with experienced campaigners Pat Murray and Gary O'Flaherty at 8-1.
Conor Coyne, the winner in Muskerry last week, is a tempting 22-1 and keen, no doubt, to make amends for a pair of 80s last year when Rory McNamara (now a pro) won by three shots from O'Flaherty and Griffin.
