Grant on the bubble
Stephen Grant has some work to do to make it to Stage Two of the Web.com Tour Q-School in Florida.
The arrival of Hurricane Matthew delayed Grant's Stage Two qualifier at The Breakers Rees Jones Course in West Palm beach by 24 hours with players forced to play 27 holes each day.
While the 39-year old Birr native shot a four under 68 to lie second after day one, he was one over for his extra nine holes he had to play later that day and then dropped two more shots to post a second round 75 and fall back to one under par
He rallied with a two under 70 in round three but finds himself tied for 15th on three under par, seven behind leader Ben Silverman and just a shot inside the top 25 and ties who will progress to next month's Second Stage.
Waterville's Mark Murphy faces an almost impossible task at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain in Georgia, where a third round 69 still leaves him on seven over and 10 shots outside the top 25 who will progress.
