Shane Lowry surprised many on Wednesday when he annouced via a Twitter picture full of emoticons that he married his fiancée Wendy Iris Honner in New York City.
The pair had led us to believe that their wedding was to be at the end of the season but instead they tied the knot in the Big Apple, heading straight there after the Masters.
We wish the happy couple all the very best for the future.
