Carey 31st in Tunisia; back to sixth in Alps Tour money list
Teenager David Carey slipped to sixth in the Alps Tour money list after a closing 73 forced him to settle for a share of 31st in the Tunisian Golf Open.
The 19-year old picked up €812 at El Kantaoui Golf Club where England's Matt Wallace shot a 70 to win the €70,000 event by two strokes from Italy's Enrico Di Nitto (67) on 12 under par.
Wallace pocketed a cheque for €10,150 and now leads the Order of Merit with €19,766 from just four starts.
Carey is sixth with €5,076 from four events with his best performance a share of second place in the Dreamland Pyramids Open in February.
