Irish senior women to face Swiss in quarter-finals

Ireland qualified in third place in the European Senior Women's Team Championship and will face Switzerland in Thursday's quarter-finals at Sierra Golf Club in Poland.

England topped the qualifiers by three strokes on 775 from France with Ireland six behind 781, the same mark as Spain.

In the individual stroke play standings, Laura Webb was the leading Irish player in a share of eighth on 10 over par after rounds of 80 and 74, nine strokes behind runaway winner Sylvie Van Molle of Belgium
