McCarthy 13th in Duke of York

Irish International Julie McCarthy finished in a tie for 13th place in the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy at Royal Birkdale.
The Forrest Little star double bogeyed her first two holes but played the remainder in level as she and added a 76 to rounds of 71 and 77 to finish on eight over 224.
She finished 10 shots behind Canada's Chloe Currie, who shot a 68 - the point best round of the week - to edge out overnight leader Marke Braadlie of Norway by a shot on two under 214.
