Meadow seven off the pace in Hawaii

Stephanie Meadow had three birdies and four bogeys in an opening 73 in the LOTTE Championship presented by Ko Olina Golf Club in Hawaii.

The Jordanstown native is tied for 86th in one-over-par, seven strokes behind Korea's Mi Hyang Lee and American Paula Creamer.

Lee and Creamer shot six-under-par 66s to lead by one from Korea's Su-Yeon Jang and Eun-Hee Ji, Americans  Beth Allen and Lizette Salas and Canada's Alena Sharp at Ko Olina Golf Club on Oahu.

Meadow has made two LPGA appearances this year, finishing tied 31st in the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic in January before missing the cut in last month's Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Phoenix.
