Power 18th as Strickland romps to McEvoy Trophy win
Charlie Strickland receives the McEvoy Trophy from Peter McEvoy
Mark Power finished tied for 18th in his defence of the Peter McEvoy Trophy at Copt Heath.
The Kilkenny player was tied third, five shots behind Nikolai Schaffrath of Germany at halfway.
But after rounds of 71 and 74, he finished 11 strokes behind Charlie Strickland, the recent Duncan Putter winner, on three-over 287

Strickland shot impressive rounds of 68 and 66 on the final day to win by three shots on eight-under-par 276 from Germany's Jannik De Bruyn.
Rosslare's John Brady tied for 27th on six-over with Hilton Templepatrick's Reece Black 36th and Castle's Robert Moran 42nd.
