Molloy and Jenkinson share top spot at Bunclody Pro-Am
St Margaret's Shane Jenkinson and Ardee's Ciaran Molloy topped the leaderboard at the Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club Pro-Am.
The pair carded rounds of three under par 69 to finish one shot ahead of Kilkenny's Jimmy Bolger and former European Tour winner Simon Thornton at the County Wexford venue.
Jenkinson, who showed signs of form with a share of tenth in the recent Irish PGA Championship, grabbed seven birdies in total, going to the turn in three under 34 before coming home in level par 35.
Molloy was mistake free on his front nine, going to the turn in three under 34 courtesy of birdies at the third, fourth and sixth.
He matched Jenkinson on the back nine, coming home in level par 35 with two birdies and two bogeys on his card.
Kevin McGrath and his amateur partners Pat Doyle, Martin Cashin and Tony McCormack, won the team event with 92 pts.
