As a result, the 2020 Sports Capital Programme will be open for applications from 11th December until 5pm on Friday 12th February 2021.
Facilitated by 2into3, a management consultancy who work with charities, not for profits and sports clubs, Golf Ireland will help clubs prepare their applications.
Since 2014, 2into3 has helped various clubs around the country secure over €1.3m in Sports Capital funding.
The work shops will be divided into two sessions.
Session One: How to Prepare your Application
Date: Thursday 10th December
Time: 7pm sharp
Overview: What do you want to apply for? Where do you start? The documents needed for your application will vary depending on capital or equipment. The webinar will focus on the opportunities available through the programme but will also show you some crucial “dos and don’ts.” Maximizing your application’s score is now crucial as demand is high and some applications may not receive funding. There have been changes to the equipment only stream this year for maintenance and participation equipment which will also be explained.
Session Two: Questions and Follow Up Guidance
Date: Wednesday 16th December
Time: 7pm sharp
Overview: While the first session will outline the new changes to the programme, this session is designed to answer specific questions related to your applications. Golf Ireland will look for engagement with the clubs prior to the event so that direct guidance can be given to you. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about their projects, focusing on specific scenarios and unique situations.
