Colm Campbell must be considered a good bet for the East of Ireland Championship after he built on his recent run of good form to win the Warrenpoint Senior Scratch Cup by a stroke from club mate Paul Reavey
Campbell opened with a three under 68 in a shotgun start to lead by one from Massereene's Tiarnan McLarnon and then added a two over 73 to claim the trophy by a stroke on one-under 141.
Reavey posted a pair of 71s as Stephen Coulter shot a fine 70 in the afternoon rain to fill out the top three for the home club with Ryan Symington edging out McLarnon for fourth
